About Distinctive Landscaping Journal

The idea for DLJ was developed in 2004 at the request of VKA consultants to satisfy their client's need to continually provide fresh, creative design solutions. The Magazine focuses heavily on residential projects and is devoted to telling real stories of contractors out in the field.

Because learning by example is so valuable, each issue explores at least five projects, the successful, along with the not-so successful. This gives you some pointers on what to do, as well as what not to do, with your next project.

Through full-color photography and illustrations, the articles detail what went into each project and how you can create the same effect to 'wow' your clients.
